This camp helps children fine-tune their motor skills with athletics. It teaches the basic skills of the sport while fostering the natural thirst for discovery found at this age. Skyhawks staff is committed to creating a positive introduction to sports and are trained to handle the specific needs of these young athletes. Participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. Please bring water, sneakers, & wear sunscreen. Incudes a t-shirt, ball, and player evaluation.
Level: New to Soccer / New to structured activities
Focus: Instill a love and excitement for the game by implementing fun games and drills.
Description: What better way to introduce your little one to the World’s Game, than by having them participate in B.E.S.T’s Pew Wee Camp. Players are taught a variety of skills in fun, low pressure games and activities. The primary focus is FUN in a safe and structured environment.

Designed to develop player's skills and technique in a fun and stimulating environment. Younger players will learn the fundamentals through fun games, small-sided games, as well as be introduced to attacking, defending, and rules of the game. Older players will develop themselves through challenging game related situations. The focus will be on technical development, functional and positional practices, tactical decision making, and advanced concepts and fitness. Participant to player ratio is 12:1. Staff are certified coaches from Britain, Europe, and USA and have played professional or semi-professional soccer. Fee includes shirt and ball (please indicate sizes on form). Please bring water bottle, shin guards, sunscreen, & snack.
This is a chance for players who are serious about getting ready for the fall season to get started training and conditioning. BEST will be providing instruction consistent with the HKSC programs.
This clinic is strongly recommended for new players entering the club in the fall.

Level: Beginner (Rec), Intermediate (Travel Level). Players will be divided by age and adjusted by ability level.
Focus: The development of technical and tactical ability while having fun in a variety of developmental drills and games.
Description: With increased skill comes increased success. With increased success comes a higher level of enjoyment. At B.E.S.T our ultimate goal is to share our love for the game with the participants of the program in the hopes that players will come to love the game as we do.
You must bring the following to Camp: Shin Guards, Soccer Ball, Plenty of Water & a Small Snack.

The Haddam-Killingworth Soccer Club is holding a patch design contest. The winning design will be made into a patch that will be used for trading at tournaments in the Fall of 2015 and Springof 2016. The contest is open to any U9-U12 players from the current or last season.
There are three templates available to choose from.
The final patch will need to be about 3 to 4 inches tall / wide.
Keep the design to 4 colors or less.
Submissions should be mailed to PO Box 217 – Higganum, CT 06441 and received by June 30th 2015. The designs will be judged by the HKSC board and coaches at the July 2015 meeting.

The Haddam-Killingworth Soccer Club was formed in 1992 and is a member of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA). The Club strives to promote the sport of soccer and to encourage fair and competitive play. The teams play throughout the state during the fall, and spring seasons.
Club home games are usually played at the Killingworth Recreation Park or Great Hill Park. Away games are generally played in the South Central District. Most games are within about 20-40 minute drive.
The club welcomes players from 8-18 years old. Players are typically grouped by age first and then by ability.
Club meetings normally take place on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm at the Killingworth Library in Killingworth. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
The Club is always looking for parents to get involved. Please consider attending a club meeting to find out more.
